Arborwood North Elementary contains 59 Dell 745 desktop computers.  These computers are running "Windows XP Professional" and "Microsoft Office 2010".  Thirty-one of these workstations are in the media center.  Every classroom includes one desktop computer, an AVermedia document camera, and a ceiling mounted projector.  Classroom computers contain the following programs: "KidPix", "Type to Learn 3", "Google Earth", "Audacity", "Geometer Sketchpad", "Kidspiration 2", "PhotoStory", "Windows Movie Maker", "Shapes", "Notebook 10", "Student Center", "EasyBook Deluxe", "FASTTMath", and others.  

There is an ACER laptop cart and a presentation cart; which teachers share.  The ACER cart contains 32 wireless laptops.  The presentation cart includes a Dell laptop, an E.L.M.O visual presenter, a projector, and a set of external speakers.  The laptop on the presentation cart connects to the network wirelessly.  This can be taken anywhere in the building to project what is on the visual presenter or the laptop.

The Media Center contains 30 student desktop computers; which students can use to search for books using a program called "Destiny". It also has a teacher computer.  This desktop is used to check out books from the library and acts as a teacher workstation.  It is connected to an AVerMedia document camera and ceiling mounted projector; which allows the teacher to project papers, three dimensional objects, books, etc. The image is displayed on an interactive whiteboard (SMARTBoard).  A SMARTBoard is basically a giant touch-screen which is connected to the teacher's computer.  Students can go up to the SMARTBoard and navigate the web, move objects, create a Word document, etc. all from the SMARTBoard.  They can also participate in interactive learning activities and games using software called "Notebook 10".  There is a laser printer for their printing needs as well.  

The main office is equipped with two Dell 745 desktop computers and a laser printer for administrative staff. These office computers run "Windows XP" and "Microsoft Office 2003". "PowerSchool" is used to manage student information. All office personnel rely on up-to-date computers and a good connection to access the information they need for students.

Arborwood North is connected by fiber to the Administration Building. Wireless access to the network is available throughout the entire building.
